• Creation of modern, enduring vehicles to do so

Previously, I worked as a scientist at Loyal (developing drugs to extend dog lifespan), ran CMC/drug manufacturing at Faeth (Khosla-backed oncology startup by Lew Cantley, Karen Vousden, Sid Mukherjee, et al), and studied organic chemistry at Vanderbilt (total synthesis of breast milk sugar mimics)

Before all of that, I was a ballet dancer which brought me to SF (my current home)

Juice Box Era. Nothing novel to report here. Primary past times = being a picky eater (ice cream only) & playing outside

Thought I’d be an artist. Trained as a ballet dancer. Tried to make it big- did some random gigs (creepiest + coolest thing I got: a custom twin doll!) Got injured + realized I don’t like being a starving artist

Discovered I like science. Organic chemistry is real life sorcery! You can physically forcing atoms to do exactly what you want. That’s pretty trippy. Tried to make a novel molecule for formula breast milk (managed to attach 3 of the 4 functional groups- maybe #4 in the future). Got recruited for healthcare investment banking at JP Morgan

Startup era. Turned down JPM to be a notetaker for a biotech startup called Celevity (now known as Loyal). 6 months later => scientist at Loyal. Two years later => running CMC/drug manufacturing at an oncology startup.

Present day. Doubling down on an incipient thesis. Started using retinol. Also making up for 15 years of dancer diet by trying every Salt & Straw monthly flavor
